Niĝsasa Anšar / Burning Heaven - Exotic & Strange Fantasy Setting

This setting has stats for H.A.R.P. (High Adventure Role Playing) and for BRP (Basic Roleplaying).

I wanted to make a setting without humans, and have lots of strange races in it.  Another idea we wanted to explore was a very young setting, where the first generation of each race was still alive.  We made this setting from scratch with input from the players.  The map that one of the players made was amazing!  We've been playing in a Play By Post game with this setting for a good while now.  I started out as the GM, but I'm now the player.  It has been a lot of fun.

Another thing I did with this setting, was use a dead language as the base of naming things and most of the races.  I used Sumerian, as it has lots of short words and sounds really cool.  :)

Sadly the only info on this setting can be found below now.

Darves Hill - Megadungeon for Labyrinth Lord

Lately I've been playing more old school & retro-clone RPGs like Labyrinth Lord, that emulate Basic & Expert Classic Dungeons & Dragons.  I made a very large layered map, that acts like a topographical map that you can peel back the layers of.  It is really cool to see in person.  My players (and others) really get excited when they see the big honkin' map!

Darves Hill is located roughly 5 hexes north of the town of Nahm on the Known Lands map found in the back of Labyrinth Lord.

I've also fleshed out the town of Nahm with NPCs and businesses, that the local blacksmith has a name when they go to buy armor off of him.

I forgot how much fun it was to stock a dungeon randomly, and how much less stress it is to run a megadungeon campaign than a normal one.

I had a blog for the Darves Hill campaign which is here:

The maps for this can be seen in a video here:

Marth Ice World - Dying Cold Fantasy Setting

This setting has stats for H.A.R.P. and for Dungeons & Dragons 3.5

This was the first setting that I made, and it shows in some ways.  I worked pretty hard on this setting for awhile, but I only really fleshed out 3 kingdoms in a lot of detail.

The world is a dying world, that is getting slowly colder and colder every year.  The gods have either died, or don't care anymore about the world or its inhabitants.  This world is more traditional than my Burning Heaven setting.

Most of the information for this world is gone from the internet, but I have a series of YouTube videos up about it.

Enlil - World Building Project (Defunct Flat Hex World)

This was a painful lesson for me.  Group projects never work, or at least the ones I'm involved with.  I did a lot of other people's work, and it still never really got finished.

Recently, I threw the idea up on YouTube about people making a 200 mile isolated hex with a unique race and god(s) for it.  Some people jumped on the idea, so there are some new hexes out there that could be attached to these (and even some of the hexes on the map were never finished completely).  I nicknamed the reskinned version of this project Hexworld.

I made a website for this setting, but then GeoCities crashed, and the other sites I've used cut how much content you could put up, so I had to delete it.  There is still a Wiki of the project that has a lot of information on it.
